AGION® protection is available on any item finished in satin or distressed lacquered finishes. It is applied during the finishing process and adds a 25% upcharge to the item’s base list price.
Q: Will AGION® change the appearance of the finish?
No. AGION® is invisible once applied. It does not affect the color, texture, or sheen of the finish—allowing your hardware to maintain its luxury appearance with the added benefit of surface protection.
Ordering, Customization, Samples & Pricing
Q: Do you have a minimum order requirement?
We will accept an order for one piece of hardware if that’s what you need. We have no minimums.
Q: How do I know if my hardware should be crafted for through-bolt or surface-mount application?
The easiest way to decide is to ask yourself: “Can I get behind the surface I’m mounting the hardware to insert a screw?”
- If the answer is no, then you’ll need to specify a surface mount.
- If the answer is yes, then our default through-bolt mount is the right application.
- To select your best morning option, click here to download Colonial Bronze’s Mounting Options, Kits and Prices booklet.
Q: Can I order custom-length hardware?
Yes. Many of our pulls and towel bars are priced per inch and can be ordered with custom center-to-center (CtC) and/or overall lengths.
Q: Can I calculate pricing for a custom CtC and overall length product?
Yes. Pricing is based on the nearest whole inch rounded up, and a $250 list price setup fee applies if either the center-to-center or overall is given a custom length not in full or ½” increments.
To calculate custom pricing:
First, identify which style of pull you’re working with:
1. Fixed-Length Styles (Example A):
- Overall length is fixed once the CtC is set
- Pricing is based on CtC only
- Setup fee applies only if CtC is not a full or ½” increment
Example A:
- 12″ CtC → 12 x (Per-Inch Price) = List Price
- 12 3/8″ CtC → 13 x (Per-Inch Price) + Setup Fee = List Price
2. Flexible-Length Styles (Example B):
- CtC and overall length may be customized independently
- Pricing is based on overall length
- Setup fee applies if either dimension is not in full or ½” increments
Example B:

- 12” Overall with 9” CtC → 12 x (Per-Inch Price) = List Price
- 14 ¼” Overall with 12 ⅜” CtC → 15 x (Per-Inch Price) + Setup Fee = List Price
To summarize:
- For pricing calculations, all measurements must be rounded up to the next full inch—whether you’re specifying center-to-center or overall length.
- Include both CtC and overall length when ordering
- Contact your local showroom or email us at info@colonialbronze.com if you need help building your custom pull

Q: How do I order door and shower pulls to be installed back-to-back?

- The two vetted pulls (they may come from different series, as long as they share the same center-to-center measurement)
